Day 1: Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be provided with an airport transfer to our amazing villa. Take this time to explore our beautiful accommodations with spectacular views.
Day 2: Experience South Africa’s most spectacular scenery from the unique vantage of a private hot air balloon ride. Rising gently above the earth at dawn, in your colorful hot air balloon, you’ll float serenely over the landscape below. After an exciting ride, you will enjoy a full hot breakfast. Our welcome dinner will take place at a unique African restaurant in the heart of Cape Town. A vibrant one-of-a-kind experience with all things African. Brace yourself with a cornucopia of taste sensations and be prepared for a one of a kind drumming lesson before feasting on a 14-course dinner.
Day 3: Start the day off with a culture rich experience. Today we’ll get a close-up view how the township residents really live. We’ll explore the township by feet meeting and interacting with some of the locals. You learn more about the history, education, sports, politics, hopes, dreams, challenges and opportunities of the township. Our township experience ends with lunch at a private residence.
Day 4: Sleep in and enjoy the day as you please. If you want to relax by the pool, explore the city, or enjoy a little retail therapy the day is yours.
Day 5: Today starts off with a visit to a museum, a walk in the Company’s Gardens, see the Bo-Kaap, Green Market Square, Castle of Good Hope and a trip up Table Mountain. Next stop, Robbens Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 of the 27 years he served behind bars. The tour route includes the graveyard of people who died from leprosy, the Lime Quarry, Robert Sobukwe’s house, the Bluestone quarry, the army, and navy bunkers and the Maximum Security Prison where thousands of South Africa’s freedom fighters were incarcerated for years. The tour culminates with a viewing of Nelson Mandela’s cell.
Day 6: Sleep in and enjoy the day as you please. Whether you want to relax by the pool, explore the city, or enjoy a little retail therapy the day is yours.
Day 7: Winelands tour visiting 3 different wine estates within the Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, and Paarl area. Some wineries will offer champagne, olive oil, beer, chocolate or nougat tasting as well as interactive eco-activities, museums, and monuments.
Day 8: It’s time to say goodbye. Although we’re saying goodbye you won’t be leaving empty-handed; you’ll have memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. Airport transfer provided back to Cape Town International Airport.
